MORE than £2,000 has been pledged to sort out mud on a footpath by a parish council.

Bishop’s Waltham Parish Council will spend £2,500 on the path in Priory Park to improve drainage and for surface work.

Councillors hope the revamped path will create better access for pushchairs and disabled residents. It will include a new kissing gate.
