A NEW leader has been appointed to lead Ukip in West Sussex.

Sandra James, county councillor for Bourne, which includes Southbourne and Westbourne, has been appointed group leader for Ukip at West Sussex County Council.

Ukip is the main opposition group at the authority.

Cllr James, who lives in Chidham, was elected in 2013, having been a parish councillor for 25 years.
