‘Disgusting’ fly-tipping is putting lives at risk, says Southsea trader

PORTSMOUTH City Council did not pay out any compensation to drivers whose vehicles were damaged by potholes last year.

In Saturday’s paper we reported that Confused.com said it had submitted a FOI to the council asking how much compensation it had paid out, but it had not responded.

In a statement, the council said most claims would fall under a Private Finance Initiative with Colas, on behalf of Ensign Ltd.
