THE Pyramids Centre’s management team has apologised for problems caused by a late delivery.

The Southsea leisure venue’s pools had to be shut on Friday until noon because chlorine which was ordered from a supplier didn’t arrive on time.

Gary Milne, chief operating officer of Southsea Community Leisure Limited, which runs The Pyramids on behalf of Portsmouth City Council, said: ‘The pools were closed on Friday morning for a short time due to a late delivery from a supplier which was beyond our control.

‘We would like to apologise for any inconvenience that this issue may have caused.’ As previously reported, BH Live is due to take over in the autumn.
