THE Conservative party in Gosport has re-elected its leader.

The group met and elected Mark Hook as leader and Graham Burgess as deputy leader of the local Conservative party.

It follows local elections on May 22. The party elects its leader each year.

Councillor Hook is also leader of Gosport Borough Council as the Conservative group holds the most seats.
