THE new lord mayor and deputy lord mayor for the city have been nominated.

Paulsgrove councillor David Horne has been deputy lord mayor this year and will be the lord mayor elect for 2015-16.

His colleague Cllr David Fuller, ward member for Fratton, is now deputy lord mayor elect. Cllr Fuller said: ‘I’m thrilled to have been chosen.

‘I’d like to thank full council for unanimously supporting me.’

They will be voted in at a formal meeting on May 19.
