THE county council has admitted a payment system has had problems.
It comes as Hampshire County Council’s joint working with Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service and Hampshire Constabulary started in February 2014.
The BBC reported 41,322 invoices were delayed out of 267,071 invoices paid since April 2014. The scheme covers finance, procurement and payroll services.
Councillor Roy Perry said: ‘There have been a few issues to address in the early stages. However, these have been relatively small.’ He added the partners have made savings of 20 per cent.
