Planning MP visits site in Chichester where starter homes will be built

THE homes and planning minister visited one of the first government starter homes sites to give his seal of approval.

Lower Graylingwell, in Chichester, is one of five pilot sites across the south where the government will have the power to directly commission the building of new homes.

MP Brandon Lewis visited the site on Friday, on the same day he went to Harts Farm Way in Havant, as reported.

He said: ‘We have got the country building again, with the number of new homes up 25 per cent over the last year, but we know there is more to do.’
