Politician pledges support to help cause

Flick Drummond, Portsmouth South MP, said it is an ‘extremely difficult’ area, which she is now going to look into.

She said: ‘The government is putting a lot more into mental health to get it on a level with physical health.

‘I need to look at what we need further and what we can do about it.

‘I know it’s a big issue in Portsmouth, I’m aware of that.

‘It’s an extremely difficult area of medicine because everybody is an individual and everyone has to be treated differently.

‘I would need to do some work on this.

‘If I can help anybody they must get in touch.’
