ONE of Portsmouth’s main car parks is to close this weekend for cleaning.

The Isambard Brunel multi-storey car park will close from Friday at 6pm to midnight on Sunday, allowing a specialist company to give it a spring clean.

Drivers can park at Isambard Brunel car park and in Guildhall Walk.

Parking manager at Portsmouth City Council, Michael Robinson, said: ‘Although car parks aren’t exactly renowned for their beauty, a thorough deep cleanse should make ours look much more appealing.’
