THE public could soon be allowed to film and record meetings at Portsmouth City Council.

Councillors will decide at a full council meeting on Tuesday whether a group made up of the city’s political parties should write a report that looks at the best way to implement the scheme.

The council’s scrutiny management panel says parties should work together on the idea.
