Portsmouth committee to decide if taxi driver should lose licence
A PRIVATE meeting is to be held to determine whether a taxi driver should have his licence taken away.
Portsmouth City Council’s licensing sub-committee will discuss the details of a report concerning the individual, whose identity has not been revealed while an investigation is carried out.
The driver currently holds a hackney carriage licence.
The committee meeting, which is to be chaired by Portsmouth Ukip councillor Julie Swan, is taking place on Thursday, from 9.30am at Portsmouth Guildhall on the third floor.
