BUSINESS leaders have learnt about the importance of faster rail links in a briefing in the city.

Flick Drummond, MP for Portsmouth South, addressed leaders at a Hampshire Chamber of Commerce breakfast briefing in Portsmouth yesterday.

She promised delegates she would take concerns and ideas directly to the Chancellor in advance of consultations prior to Stagecoach’s South West Trains franchise, which expires in February 2017.
