Prime Minister Theresa May calls for country to '˜unite behind' her EU withdrawal deal despite Brexit rebellionÂ

Prime Minister Theresa May has reiterated that her deal is the best deal for the UK.Â

The embattled PM repeated the qualities of her draft withdrawal agreement with the EU tonight. 

The move followed a day of resignations from her cabinet by ministers over her Brexit deal.

Speaking in a press conference tonight, Mrs May backed her own deal saying it is the best deal and that it '˜delivers on priorities' of British people.

Brexit Secretary Dominc Raab MP, Work and Pensions Secretary Esther McVey MP, Fareham MP Suella Braverman and Northern Ireland minister Shailesh Vara are all amongst the MPs who quit cabinet positions today (November 15). 

This morning, Dominic Raab tweeted: '˜Today, I have resigned as Brexit Secretary. I cannot in good conscience support the terms proposed for our deal with the EU.

Mr Raab's became Brexit Secretary in July following the resignation of David Davis over Mrs May's Chequers proposals.Â
