MEMBERS of the public can grill Portsmouth City Council’s leader about the authority’s cuts.

Councillor Gerald Vernon-Jackson will talk about the council’s budget at tomorrow evening’s East Southsea Neighbourhood Forum meeting. He will then answer questions from the floor about why the cuts were made and how they may affect the city.

The meeting will be held at St Simon’s Church, Waverley Road, Southsea, from 7pm.

Admission is free.
