Gosport demands the House of Lords is scrapped, petition findings suggest

Have your say

MORE than 100 candidates have put themselves forward to be the prospective parliamentary candidate for the Conservatives in Fareham.

The selection process will now whittle the number down to 10, who will be interviewed next Saturday.

The top three will then be voted on at a party meeting on Saturday, February 28, when the prospective parliamentary candidate will be picked.

Current Fareham MP Mark Hoban announced last month that he will not run for re-election in May.
