A RESIDENTS’ association is reminding people of the importance of attending community meetings to hear about a contentious plan to build on countryside.

Hill Head Residents’ Association is reminding people to attend two Community Action Team meetings organised by Fareham Borough Council.

The first meeting is tomorrow at 7pm at Fareham College, Bishopsfield Road, and the second is at 7pm on Friday at Crofton Community Centre, Stubbington Lane, Stubbington.

Fareham Borough Council will be discussing the application from developer Hallam Land, which wants to build 1,550 homes between Fareham and Gosport, including its proposal to fund part of the Stubbington bypass.

Residents will have a chance to view the plans at a small exhibition before the meeting starts.
