RESIDENTS in Copnor are to receive ‘please call on me’ cards from local councillors to request visits about issues in their area.

Ward councillors Robert New, Neill Young, Mike Park and Copnor community campaigner Jonathan Kemp are expanding the scheme, which was first trialled last summer.

They said in a statement: ‘Every fortnight we will post a ‘Please Call On Me’ card with our contact details throughout a different area in our electoral ward each fortnight.

‘Residents then display this card and the following week we can drop in and visit residents where they live.’
