Talks to save hovercraft are progressing positively says museum trustee

DISCUSSIONS on the future of saving a hovercraft from being scrapped are going well.

That is the message from the trustees at the Hovercraft Museum who are in talks with the Homes and Communities Agency to save the SRN4 vessel.

As previously reported, the HCA own the land the hovercraft is on at Daedalus in Lee-on-the-Solent but the trustees are in talks to save it.

Ben Avery, from the museum, said: ‘We are really pleased with the support we have had and talks with the HCA are progressing.’
