CHARITIES which earn funds from Fareham’s textile recycling banks will be paid their money in one payment.

Fareham Borough Council changed the way textile recycling banks are run in the borough last month. Charities which used to benefit from banks on council land are now paid a share from the council.

Traid, Air Ambulance and the Salvation Army will receive their share in a lump sum annually. The council said this would enable the charities to do more with it.
