PLANS to bulldoze a home and build three properties on a plot were refused by councillors.

Derek Warwick Developments Team applied to Havant Borough Council to demolish a home at 28 Lodge Road, Bedhampton, and build two semi-detached properties and a bungalow.

Seven letters of objection were received by the council, with two in support.

Councillors voted to refuse the application.

The council planning report states: ‘It is considered that the proposed tandem development within this plot would amount to overdevelopment to the detriment of the occupiers of the adjacent dwellings.’
