Have your say

THE public is being given the chance to vote on how £30,000 should be spent in the community.

There will be a series of events where residents can have their say on how the cash – from Hampshire County Council and Havant Borough Council – will go.

The next meeting is at Waterlooville Community Centre, Maurepas Way, on Monday, from 6pm to 8pm, followed by Hayling United Reformed Church, Hollow Lane, on Thursday, from 6pm to 8pm. The final meeting is at Barncroft School, Park Lane, Bedhampton on December 5 from 4pm to 6pm.

Voluntary groups are invited to make applications for cash grants of between £250 and £1,000. They will speak directly to the public who will then vote. If you are interested in taking part in the events, call (023) 9241 5556 or email
