Warning not to copy daredevil photographer who climbed 100m crane to capture shots of Portsmouth at night

A SENIOR politician has warned people not to copy the daredevil tactics of a photographer who climbed a 100m high crane to capture photos of Portsmouth at night.

Jordan Bareham’s stunning panoramic shots were taken from a crane at the building site of the new University of Portsmouth halls of residence, off Greetham Street, Landport.

Although Jordan himself warned others not to follow in his footsteps, others have come forward to say that trespassing on the site and climbing the crane was irresponsible.

Senior Conservative, Councillor Ken Ellcome, said: ‘This is certainly something that should not be encouraged.

‘Although he is clearly someone who gets a buzz out of this people should be aware that it is very dangerous.

‘It should not be copied.’

The 19-year-old, from Bedhampton, is a professional photographer and free runner.
