SUPERMARKET shoppers will be able to donate to a good cause while picking up their groceries.

The Royal British Legion will have Poppy Appeal collectors in Sainsbury’s Broadcut, Fareham until November 10.

Sainsbury’s has supported The Royal British Legion for the last 21 years.

There will be poppy inspired products on sale in-store, with all profits going to The Royal British Legion. The range will include jute bags, tea towels and two flower bouquets.

Store manager Pete Harriman said: ‘I’d like to thank our customers for their kind donations and support every year, Fareham has been really supportive of the Poppy Appeal. Our store looks forward to all the activity we have planned to support this fantastic cause.’

After Armistice Day, customers can also recycle their poppies in-store, from November 12 until 24. All collected poppies go back to The Royal British Legion to help make new poppies or to generate more funds.
