STAFF at Grosvenor Casino in Southsea will start raising as much money as possible for Carers Trust as part of a 24-day fundraising challenge next week.

Spanning 24 days from Tuesday, the Osborne Road casino will be undertaking various fundraising activities. Later that week on Friday, July 4, it will be raising money for the cause with a charity car wash.

Paul Brady, general manager at Grosvenor Casino, said: ‘We can’t wait to get stuck into our next charity challenge fundraising for Carers Trust.

‘Our challenge promises to be a great event and we’re really hoping the people of Portsmouth can come and join us to show their support for such a deserving charity.’

Pushpinder Gill, senior corporate fundraising manager at Carers Trust, added: ‘We’re extremely grateful to Grosvenor Casino for undertaking this fundraising challenge to raise awareness for those who offer day in, day out care to those who need it and wish them the best of luck.’
