PEOPLE with artistic flair are joining forces to take part in a craft playday.

The event, which is being held in the Scouts Hall in Baffins, Portsmouth, will bring craft makers together to show off their projects and sell some of their products to members of the public.

It is being organised on July 28 in aid of Help for Heroes and already a number of people have signed up to take part.

In return for a £15 fee, stallholders can use the hall from 10am to 4pm and will be given tea and coffee and lunch.

Organiser Sue McDermott said: ‘The idea is that crafters can get together for a fun day and raise money for such a good cause at the same time.’

There will also be a raffle in aid of the charity, with prizes donated by craft companies and local firms.
