Portsmouth dog owner after possible witnesses of attack

A WOMAN is calling for witnesses to come forward after her dog was attacked.

The incident happened near Roko Gym, off Copnor Road, in Copnor, on October 2, at around 6pm.

The Portsmouth resident said she was holiday when her dog was attacked while out with a dog walker.

After calling Portsmouth City Council dog wardens, the woman said the area had previous reports of attacks by a similar dog.

She said: ‘My two-year-old black toy poodle was attached by a black staffie cross.

‘Both dogs were on the lead but the staffie attacked and bit my dog on the jaw. I want anyone who might have seen the incident to get in touch.’
