A VEHICLE hire firm has donated three vans to charity.

The Portsmouth branch of Northgate Vehicle Hire gave three vans to the RNLI for the Portsmouth Coastal Waterside Marathon.

The vehicles were used to carry water supplies to the race and became water supply stations for the run.

More than 1,600 people took part in the run.

Kirsty Goble, branch manager of the firm, said: ‘We’re thrilled to have supported the RNLI. The marathon is a fantastic cause.’
