More than 20 firefighters battled a blaze which ripped through a top floor flat.

Investigators are looking into whether the blaze, in Stubbington Avenue, North End, Portsmouth, started because of an electrical fault.

No one was in the flat at the time. It took firefighters two hours, until 9pm last night to put the fire out.
