A CHARITY football tournament is being held in aid of a mental health charity.

Tom Gray, from Knowle Village, Fareham, is running in the London Marathon and to help raise more money, he has organised a five-a-side football tournament to be held at Roko Gym, Copnor Road, Copnor.

The money raised will go to Mind which helps people suffering from mental illnesses.

Tom said: ‘I set up the tournament because it was a good way to get people involved in raising money for charities.

‘We have planned for Guy Whittingham to referee the final and other Pompey staff will be helping out too.

‘We have got about 80 people who are taking part and I can’t wait for it to start.’

The tournament takes place on April 7 and starts at 11.45am. A pub quiz and raffle will take place afterwards.
