A FRANTIC mother called in firefighters when her daughter got wedged in a toilet seat.

The crew, from Cosham, released the seven-year-old by cutting through the toilet seat after she got stuck.

It happened at 3.30pm in Malta Road, Fratton yesterday. Firefighters said the girl had been trapped for 10 minutes but was fine.
