Portsmouth hit by second power cut

PORTSMOUTH has been hit by a second power cut this evening following a blackout yesterday that affected 50,000 people.

The power cut is said to be affecting the PO4 area and engineers from Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks are on site fixing the issue.

A statement said: '˜We're sorry for the loss of supply. 

'˜We currently have a fault affecting the areas listed. Our engineers are on site working hard to get the power back on as quickly as they can.'
