Portsmouth puppy gets in a scrape and has to be rescued... from a chair

AN ANIMAL rescue officer freed a puppy after it became stuck in the workings of a recliner chair.

Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service went to the house in Grafton Street, Buckland, at about midday yesterday.

A spokeswoman from the service said the officer freed the seven-week-old Pomeranian puppy by 1pm. It was unhurt.
