Mrs Drummond learned about the store’s charity partner, Portsmouth Down’s Syndrome Association, which is committed to improving the lives of children and their families in Portsmouth and South Hampshire.

It provides friendship, support and an extensive range of educational services from birth.

She said: ‘It was a pleasure to meet the team today.

‘I can see that they take part in a number of great initiatives and it was really interesting to hear more about the work they do.’
