Portsmouth teenagers hold fun day for Royal Navy charity
To boost their fundraising total ahead of the event next February the friends organised a fun day at the Wymering Sports and Social Club yesterday afternoon.
Keiran O’Toole, 16, from Paulsgrove, thought of the life raft fundraiser and asked school mates Adrian Duffy, 17, and George Palmer, 16, if they wanted to do the challenge too.

Hide AdKeiran, a student at Portsmouth College, said: ‘My grandparents were in the Royal Navy and my dad is in the merchant navy. I joined the Royal Navy Reserve but had to pull out after breaking my leg.
‘I wanted to give something back and thought the life raft would be a good challenge. We are really looking forward to it.’
The trio are hoping to raise £800 and have already got £550. They are hoping to add to that with yesterday’s event which had bingo, live music, games and a raffle.
