Portsmouth warship HMS Albans rescues stricken sailors from sinking boat

A NAVY ship from Portsmouth helped save the lives of two men trapped on a sinking boat in the Gulf of Oman.

The two Pakistani men got into trouble when their engine failed and their craft started letting in water.

HMS St Albans was informed about their plight and made an emergency detour to help the stricken sailors. Despite their efforts engineers from Albans were unable to repair the vessel.
