Portsmouth's weather forecast for this week

Met Office forecasters have predicted a mild start to the week in the Portsmouth area.

But they say that by Wednesday, temperatures are likely to drop.

The Met Office regional forecast is:-

Today:

A cold, misty and rather cloudy start, but some good sunny spells are expected to develop through the day. Generally a fine and dry day, but a few light showers are possible in the east at first. Maximum Temperature 11 °C.

Tonight:

Some clear spells at first, but becoming generally cloudy from the west overnight with a little patchy, light rain possible at times later, mainly across northern areas. Minimum Temperature 3 °C.

Monday:

Generally cloudy and breezy with some mostly light rain at times, mainly in the east during the morning. Perhaps some bright intervals developing by the afternoon and feeling quite mild. Maximum Temperature 12 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Tuesday, mild and dry at first, but some rain likely later. Wednesday, becoming windy and colder with some rain or squally showers. Thursday, cold and windy with squally showers
