Portsmouth Race for Life event manager Chris Woods said Natalie was an inspiration.
He explained: ’I know everyone who sees her at Southsea will be very moved by her courage and they will be behind her all the way to ensure she meets her challenge.’
Natalie said she wanted to show others facing a battle with cancer that there was always hope.
She said her advice was: ‘Take something up – just try not to think about it and stay positive. That’s the only way to get through it.’
Natalie still has several more chemotherapy sessions to get through and hopes she will be in the clear by September.
