SLIMMING groups have named their most inspirational members ‘Miss Slinky’ and ‘Mr Sleek’ after a weight loss competition.

Branches of Slimming World have each given a man and a woman from their groups the title.

Among the successful Miss Slinkys was Natasha Lambe, who lost 4st after joining the Waterlooville Springwood group in January.

Ms Lambe said: ‘Just felt it was time to make a change. I have been overweight since I was about 14.

‘I found out I had polycystic ovary syndrome which did not help.

‘Over the years I’d manage to lose small amounts of weight but always put it back on plus more.

‘This is the first time I have ever lost as much as I have and I feel amazing.’

The Purbrook-Riverside School’s group was Hayley Wait, who lost 5st 10lb.

Slimming World branches are opening on a revised schedule over Christmas and New Year.
