Pudsey Bear gives Havant school a surprise visit for Children in Need

A SCHOOL was given a surprise yesterday as Pudsey Bear showed up at assembly.

The big yellow bear, who is the mascot for Children in Need, amazed pupils at St Thomas More’s Catholic Primary School in Havant while they were settling down for a school assembly.

Pudsey was there to pick up the school’s donation for the television event and also met each of the children to give them a hug.

The bear also received a special hama bead in the shape of Pudsey the Bear from pupil Rosie Robinson, 11.

Rosie Miller, from the school said: ‘It was great. The children were happy to see him.’
