STUDENTS from schools across Portsmouth showed off their musical talents at this year’s Portsmouth Schools Music Festival.

Pupils from Court Lane Infant School, Highbury Primary School, St George’s Beneficial C of E Primary School, Fernhurst Junior School, Solent Junior School and The Flying Bull Academy took to the stage at the Guildhall in the infant and junior choirs.

The choirs were led by Sarah Lewis and Amy Hudson respectively, as they performed in front of friends and family.

There were also solo performances from Alex Higgins, of Mayville High School and Milo Baker, of Springfield Secondary School.

Giving the pupils the opportunity to perform on a big stage was a chance to boost their confidence when performing and showcase their talents.
