QA Hospital suffers brief powercut after fire at substation
The fire on the Cosham site also saw some staff evacuated but the hospital confirmed no patients were moved.
A tweet by Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust, which runs the hospital, said power was quickly restored.

Hide AdPaul Bytheway, chief operating officer at the trust, said: '˜Mains power to parts of Queen Alexandra Hospital site was lost shortly after midday today.
'˜The exact cause of the power cut is being investigated.
'˜All patients were protected throughout. No-one came to harm.
'˜We instigated our incident response plan and normal power has been restored in all patient areas in the hospital.
'˜Thank you to everyone on site for their quick action in helping to ensure all of our patients are safe.'

Hide AdA spokeswoman added staff at the substation were those evacuated.
Two fire crews from Cosham attended the fire just after midday, off Southwick Hill Road.
It was quickly put out and the stop call was 12.33pm.
A spokesman from the fire service said: '˜We used two breathing apparatus, a hose reel and dry-powered extinguisher to tackle the fire.'
