PEOPLE are being invited to put their knowledge to the test in a charity quiz.

Care charity Brendoncare Club Hampshire is holding a fundraising night at its Gosport base at The Anchorage in Willis Road.

There will be a quiz on March 26 from 7.30pm with a ploughman’s supper.

All money raised will go towards Brendoncare’s clubs in the area, which support older people to enjoy social time and activities out of their houses.

Lisa Fletcher, from Brendoncare’s club fundraiser, said: ‘Please support us by coming along to this fun-packed evening.

‘Whether you’re regular quiz-goers or you fancy an evening out, please get in touch to help raise vital money for older people in Gosport.’

Entry to the event costs £5 per person.

It is open to teams of between four and eight people.

To register for the quiz, call Edith Kinghorn on (023) 9250 4880 or email edithkinghorn@hotmail.com.

You can register on your own and Brendoncare will find you a team to join.
