SHE MAY be living thousands of miles away in Dubai, but Daisy Clarkson is making sure she raises lots of money in aid of a UK charity.

Daisy, 28, who comes from Portsmouth but is currently working for Dubai-based Radio 2, will be going on a 26-mile charity walk to raise money for DebRA – a charity working on behalf of people who suffer from the genetic skin disorder epidermolysis bullosa.

At the same time her UK-based sister-in-law Nicki will run the same distance in the London Marathon on April 17, also in aid of the charity.

Daisy, whose marathon walk takes place around one of Dubai’s latest developments, The Galleries, is wearing a pedometer to monitor the number of steps she takes each day as part of her normal walking routine.
