Rainbow Centre to hold zip wire fundraiser

PEOPLE are being encouraged to raise money for charity by going on a zip wire.

The Rainbow Centre, in Fareham, is holding the event next month and it is calling on people to sign up.

The event will see participants zip wire for 300 metres while hanging 35 metres above the ground.

It is being held at Lakeside North Harbour, in Cosham, on June 19.

Jess Greenwood, events fundraiser at The Rainbow Centre, said: ‘We’re so grateful to Lakeside North Harbour who have given us their venue for free.

‘So far the ages of people taking part goes from 11 right up to 70 and we’ve even had quite a few Rainbow Centre service users sign up too.

‘This is such an exciting event and the response so far has been incredible we are really looking forward to seeing lots of our supporters on this fun day.’
