A CRAFT show will bring together ceramicists, jewellers, artists, and even musicians as a season of art kicks off.
The annual Spice Island Art Trail begins this Sunday with Crafts in the Tower’s exhibition in Old Portsmouth’s Square Tower.
This month classical guitarist Jon Hardcastle has been invited to play two musical sessions which visitors can enjoy while viewing the art works at the Tower.
There will be a wide variety of high quality work on display and new to the tower this month will be ceramicists Ginny Topp and Chris Vossel-Newman who will join regulars Bernice Hughes and Di Wren.
Visitors can also see oil paintings by Mel Brundrit, who is showing some new work with a marine theme and works by Pam Lake in a variety of media.
There will be the return of Cherie Lubbock with her works in glass and Jan Fowler with her atmospheric photography.
Regular exhibitors will include Maggie Ambler with her hand painted tiles and Lesley George and her exotic embroidered textiles.
Jewellers Sharon Justice and Katherine Webber will be there to tempt visitors with their contemporary designs.
The exhibition runs from 11am to 4pm.
Admission is free and the vintage tea room will be serving cakes and savouries.
