A MUSEUM will play host to a reading of Charles Dickens’ work.
A member of the Dickens Fellowship will read at the Charles Dickens Birthplace Museum in Old Commercial Road in Buckland.
It will start at 3pm on Sunday, May 3. The museum is open to visitors until September 30. Fans of the author will be able to look around the house.
Then on May 12, David Francis will give a talk called ‘Some Editorial Headaches’ at St Swithun’s Church Hall, in Waverley Road, Southsea, from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. Entry is £1 for non-members.
