Recognition for south coast's milk deliverers

THE search has begun for the South coast's milk people of the year.

Milk & More, the nation's biggest milk delivery service, is encouraging its customers to vote for the most dedicated milkmen and women across the nation.

Patrick Mueller, the MD of Milk & More, said: '˜Our milkmen and women are an integral part of their local communities and we are working hard to ensure this great British tradition will be here for generations to come.

'˜This competition is a chance for people to let their local Milk & More milkmen and women know what an important role they play in the community.'

The winner of last year's Milk & More competition, Darren Barnes, 51, won the award for '˜always going the extra mile', delivering a total of over 6m pints of milk and keeping the community safe.
