A refuse lorry overturned at a major roundabout in Fareham today.

Police were called to the Delme roundabout, near Wallington Way, at around 9.40am after the accident.

The junction, which leads to the A27 and Portchester, was blocked as the driver had to be rescued by the fire service.

Clean-up crews from Fareham Borough Council were on-scene at around 10am to help clear the debris.

No other vehicle was thought to be involved and the driver suffered minor injuries.
