A 10-year-old boy has been left in a serious condition after getting hit by a bus.

Kent Police said they were called to reports of a collision at Singleton Hill, Ashford, on Saturday at 9.15am.

Emergency crews treated the injured child at the scene before taking him by air ambulance to a London hospital.

His condition is described as serious but stable.

Police have asked any witnesses who saw the bus or the boy immediately before or during the collision, including drivers with dashcam footage, to come forward.
